CDbuilder™ is the main multimedia authoring tool that the CDfactory™ production team uses to assemble the digitized assets. It generates control files including indexes and digital assets for inclusion into the CDplayer™ application.
CDbuilder™ has five major components. The Table Of Contents (TOC) uses the control file from CDstorylog™ to dynamically create a directory structure that matches the Story Outline. The Diagnostics section checks to make sure all the necessary files are in the proper place and format. Chapter Builder specifies the links between the media types and the title's structure. Index Builder is used to enter custom keywords and assign any number of references. Finally, Interface Builder automatically builds and customizes new interfaces from existing graphic libraries.
